Hi, I’m Kas, the owner of Kas Flower Shop. Flowers have been more than my passion—they have been a source of healing, strength, and hope throughout my life. My journey began in Sri Lanka, where I grew up surrounded by the beauty of lotuses and water lilies. After moving to the United States at 18, I dreamed of continuing my education, but life took me in a different direction. I found my way into the floral industry, and it became the place where I discovered my true calling. For 25 years, I worked as a florist, creating designs while raising my family and facing life’s challenges. Through every difficult moment, flowers gave me peace. Designing arrangements became my meditation, my escape, and a reminder of beauty even during the hardest days. Today, I’m proud to have opened the flower shop I always dreamed of. My mission is simple: to share the joy, comfort, and beauty that flowers have brought into my own life. Every arrangement is created with heart, with the hope of making someone’s day a little brighter.

Do you offer same-day flower delivery in Alexandria?
We do not offer same-day delivery, but we do offer next-day delivery.

Can I order online or by phone?
Yes! You can order online anytime at kasflowershop.net or by phone at (703) 862-4875 during our business hours (Mon-Tue Closed, Wed 10:00 AM-5:00 PM, Thu-Fri 10:00 AM-7:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, Sun Closed).
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, bank account payments, and Afterpay at our online checkout. For in-store or phone orders, we take cards, House Accounts, cash, and checks.
Can I request certain flowers or colors?
Of course! You can let us know your preferred flowers or color palette. While some blooms may be seasonal or limited, we’ll do our best to create an arrangement that reflects your vision.
What happens if the recipient isn’t home?
If the recipient isn’t available, our driver will either leave the flowers in a safe spot or, if needed, arrange a re-delivery at a later time.
Do you deliver flowers to hospitals, offices, or event venues in Alexandria?
Yes, we deliver to homes, hospitals, businesses, and venues across Alexandria. Please provide the full address and any delivery notes during checkout.
Can I include add-ons with my bouquet or arrangement?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of flower delivery add-ons to personalize your arrangement such as small gifts or keepsakes. You’ll see available add-ons on each product page and again at checkout.
How do I make my flowers last longer?
Trim the stems, place them in fresh water, and keep the arrangement in a cool spot away from direct sunlight to extend their life.
